This week we have been impacted yet again by another loss in our scenes. It’s not the first or second or third one. As much as we would love it to be the last one unfortunately that’s not the reality. We are still feeling an impact from the recent divide the pandemic has created amongst us. We are constantly losing a lot of musicians or major players (fans, engineers, promoters, etc.) in our scenes.
We at the Manitoba Loud Music Awards are sensitive to this topic as we have all been there just like many of you. Badlands Promotions Inc was started up to try to give people the amazingness that is live music so we can (even temporarily) feel the power that live music gives us. Please reach out if you need help. Call a friend, get to a hospital, do something productive that can help you get through and heal whatever is hurting us. We are all in this together. We are all family.
