An early addition to Sunbreather after its founding, Anah gives the unique flavour that has been missing from funk-rock music for decades. Having trained in voice lessons for years, graduated with distinction in Jazz Studies from the University of Manitoba, and running her own vocal lessons, Anah is a staple of the local Winnipeg music scene in both teaching and performing. Jazz, soul, hard rock, funk, and grunge influence pervade throughout her vocal lines and melodies, gliding gracefully atop the whirlwind of instruments behind her. For all of these virtues, and more, Anah is well-deserving of the title “Vocalist of the Year”.
