Chernobyl Wolves are united in their love of 80’s classic hardcore punk music. Citing influences such as Bad Brains, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Black Flag, Circle Jerks to name but a few, the band carry their loud banner high!! As with anything associated with hardcore music, the band is unrelenting in their passion, drive and energy. They play hard, fast and brash anthemic music with a big huge emphasis on melody and range.The band recorded their debut album in 2016 For The Stranded and followed up with their 2nd CD New Wolf Order in 2019. They were recently featured on the new 16 Band LP Canada Punk Vol 1 representing Winnipeg proudly on that compilation. They are currently negotiating with an indie label to have a 4 Song 7″ Vinyl release slated for Winter 2023. The band is proud to be nominated for Hardcore Band of the Year and recognizes this great city as having one of the best, if not THE BEST, Punk scenes in Canada and truly just being nominated in such a deep field is a privilege and an honour. We howl in unison for this high praise!!
