Creating your sound professionally. Private Ear has been a Winnipeg recording institution and Manitoba Film and Music accredited studio since 1994. Working with bands such as The Watchmen, The Guess Who, JD Edwards Band with former owners Neil and Lloyd. In 2007 Neil and John Paul re-located to the current location. Now owned by John Paul and Vanessa Peters and Incorporated in 2019. Both Vanessa and John are passionate advocates for musicians independence and are building an industry recording model that empowers musicians to retain ownership and control of their material while still receiving the highest possible standard of production and recording. The last 10 years Private Ear has been working with bands such as: Propagandhi, Royal Canoe, Begonia, Mobina Galore, Cancer Bats, Hello Fiasco, Ken Mode, Matt Epp, Trampoline, The Small Glories, The Rules, Roman Clarke, Yes we Mystic, Red Moon road, Sweet Alibi, Deep Dark Cave, Whitebeard and many many more!
