Private Ear has been a Winnipeg recording institution and Manitoba Film and Music accredited studio since 1994. Now owned and operated by John Paul (JP Peters, Producer/ engineer) and Vanessa Peters (Studio and JP’s manager) who are passionate advocates for musicians independence and are building an industry recording model that empowers musicians to retain ownership and control of their material while still receiving the highest possible standard of production and recording. In the last 10 years Private Ear has been working with bands such as: Propagandhi, Comeback Kid, Royal Canoe, Begonia, Mobina Galore, Cancer Bats, Hello Fiasco, Ken Mode, Trampoline, The Small Glories, The Rules, Death Cassette and many more!
