As the first black singer in the punk/metal/hardcore scene Ricky is a pioneer. He has a singing style all his own as well as a stage show unparalleled with energy. His fight for equality, inclusion, and representation for BIPOC people started with his first band in 1985 and is still going. He can always be found talking to someone he doesn’t know at a gig.
