Sean Perrun is a local video producer and award winning filmmaker. On top of the many scripted music videos he’s produced, he’s also the video director and co-producer at Red Tie Live, Manitoba’s only professional live streamed concert series featuring heavy bands.
Sean has been working as a video production professional in Winnipeg for over 5 years. In that time, he’s won two awards for filmmaking. The first came in 2018, when his collaborative short film – titled Writer’s Block – won the Anti-Racism Arts Festival’s 48-hour film challenge. The next was for Best Directorial Debut for a documentary he co-directed called No Roadblocks, Just Detours. As a freelance videographer, Sean’s job is never quite the same from one day to another, but his heart is in the music community. Sean’s favourite jobs are scripted music videos, or doing literally anything with the awesome crew at Red Tie Live, who strive to promote the local music scene in any way they can.
