Skyraid is a heavy metal band with a style derived from the powerful, heavy, riff-driven sounds of the 80s. Stopping short of being just another nostalgia act, Skyraid is unafraid to experiment with their sound and song writing, pulling inspiration from all over the broad spectrum of metal to craft themselves a truly unique sound. Much of their music dips into the realms of dark fantasy and dungeons & dragons telling the grand tales of mystical lands and rulers. In the live setting Skyraid sets itself apart by incorporating fun stage props to their performances, with a little bit of theatrics to go along with it.
